About
St. Mark's Towers
Established in 1982
St. Mark’s Towers is a non-profit residence for low-income singles, couples and disabled persons age 62 and above. Two six-story structures contain a total of 150 one-bedroom apartments. Operating independently of the St. Mark’s Church, St. Mark’s Towers offers independent seniors a vibrant connected lifestyle and a chance to engage in supplementary services privately.
A subsidy from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) enables residents to pay no more than 30% of adjusted monthly income for rent. Utilities are included.
Location
Outside, breathtaking views of the famous Marshes of Glynn and manicured grounds are bordered by majestic live oaks. Inside, residents enjoy amenities such as a beauty and barber shop, library, exercise room and gathering room for parties, programs or just a friendly game of bridge with neighbors.
Located near the region’s best healthcare facilities, the Towers are close to shopping, dining and community activities. Handicap-accessible van service is provided free of charge for trips to shopping, appointments and errands.
